Labor’s National Conference is Australia’s largest political conference and one of the most significant events on the Australian political calendar.
For the first time since 1979, Labor’s National Conference is returning to Adelaide.
The 48th National Conference is planned to be held from Thursday 26 July – Saturday 28 July 2018 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Adelaide’s the perfect place to host our National Conference next year. It will bring together the entire Labor party to help shape the policies we take to the next election.
These policies will put Australian jobs first, protect penalty rates and ensure we keep fighting for Medicare and better schools.
The conference will be attended by 1500 Labor party delegates, party members, supporters, observers and community groups.
The Fringe program will operate concurrently with the debate on the conference floor and will feature over 50 events highlighting progressive thinking, ideas, argument, knowledge sharing and networking.
