The National Indigenous Labor Network is a National Committee of the ALP established under the National Constitution. It aims to:
- attract and support Indigenous ALP members
- increase the involvement of Indigenous people at all levels of the ALP
- provide a focus for the identification, training and support of Indigenous candidates
- increase awareness of Indigenous issues throughout the ALP
- increase commitment of Party members to greater representation of Indigenous people throughout the Party
- encourage the employment of Indigenous people in staff and Party positions
The NILN operates as a National Committee of the ALP and is headed by a Convenor, Senior Deputy Convenor and Junior Deputy Convenor:

Junior Deputy: Chris Bourke
