Candidate for Hume

Aoife is a first generation Irish Australian born in Camden, New South Wales, where she lives today. She is a lawyer.

Aoife studied Law at the University of Western Sydney, Macarthur campus, and has spent many years representing the NSW Government in NSW courts and tribunals.

Aoife has international legal experience, having worked for several years representing the UK Government in the High Court of Justice in London.

Aoife has lectured in Human Rights and International Justice through the UNSW Gerric program and has been a guest lecturer in human rights through Western Sydney University's LLM program.

Aoife is the President of the Macarthur Gaelic Club and a former Irish dancer.  Aoife won the Australian national Irish dance solo titles at the age of 15 and numerous Australian national teams titles, and placed ninth in the North American national titles at age 25. Aoife remains involved in the Irish community and the Irish dance community and hopes to take her TCRG Irish dance teacher's exam in the coming years.

Aoife is passionate about the prosperity and preservation of Hume as we face a future of jobs unscripted, a plan for populations unheard of, and tackle a government unwilling to invest in us.

Aoife is married with two children.
