About Dan

Dan will be a strong voice for Fairfax on the Sunshine Coast, and he will work with Julia Gillard to make sure locals have their say for the Sunshine Coast.

Dan’s family have lived on the Sunshine Coast for well over 100 years when his great grandfather moved to the region. Dan is the 4th generation to be born and to live on the Sunshine Coast. Dan, is proud to call the Sunshine Coast home.

Dan has enjoyed an active involvement in the Sunshine Coast community for many years and he is dedicated to ensuring the Sunshine Coast is recognised as a key region in Queensland and receives the necessary infrastructure for the growing community.

As a long term resident and with an even longer family history in the region, Dan has a passionate commitment to protecting the environment and the lifestyle of the Sunshine Coast for future generations.

Dan was educated locally and attended local schools and the University of the Sunshine Coast. Dan wants to ensure the Fairfax has the best education facilities possible and he welcomes the Labor Government’s investments of over $90 million in schools in the electorate of Fairfax.

Named after the city of Adelaide which in turn was named after Queen Adelaide, wife of William IV.

Area and Location Description:

The division of Adelaide covers an area of approximately 75 sq km from Grand Junction Road in the north to Cross Road in the south. Suburbs include Ashford, Clarence Park, Enfield, Goodwood, Kent Town, Keswick, Kilburn, Maylands, North Adelaide, Northgate, Norwood, Parkside, Prospect, Rose Park, St Peters, Toorak Gardens, Unley, Walkerville and the City of Adelaide.
