Kim has been a local Redlands resident for over 20 years. She moved from Melbourne with her family for the fantastic lifestyle and climate that Queensland affords, and has raised her son here and educated him in local schools. As a mum, Kim is committed to developing opportunity and promoting a strong sense of community.
Kim offers real world business experience. She is currently Chief Operating Officer for a large Brisbane architectural firm. Kim is an Associate Member of the Property Council of Australia and is part of the Women and Diversity Committee. She is also on the Management Committee for the Brisbane Development Association. These roles reflect her commitment to better outcomes for people and their built environment.
Kim has spent time exploring international markets in China and India in recent years - she has a good understanding of the future global challenges Australia will need to be prepared for. Kim is focused on the need to improve local services, delivering a proper NBN and building the infrastructure that Bowman needs to support its rapid urbanisation.
Kim has volunteered for a range of community organisations including Zonta International and Group, a Queensland-based mental health organisation assisting those in our community affected by mental illness.
Kim is passionate about improving health care and education for all Australians. She is a candidate who truly cares about the creating and delivering the best outcomes for future generations of Australians.
