Candidate for Brisbane
Pat grew up in a small town called Baralaba, halfway between Banana and Dingo in Central Queensland. For the last seventeen years, Pat has served as an officer in the Australian Army after graduating from the Royal Military College, Duntroon.
Pat served two tours in Iraq, and also commanded Australian armed forces assisting in the clean-up following the 2013 Bundaberg floods.
Pat firmly believes that he wouldn't be where he is today but for the opportunities created by others. The education Pat received at Baralaba State School, along with the encouragement of his family and a great local community, set the foundation for everything he has done. Everyone deserves that opportunity.
Pat would like now to continue serve the community as the Federal Member for Brisbane. He hopes to work with locals to build a vision for the future, and not just talk about the vision, but implement it. He wants to represent each and every one of them, and be their voice in Canberra.
