Biography

Known as CT, Chris Trevor is a local community champion who always puts people first. His interest in the local community has led him to successfully stand for Gladstone City Council.

CT is a born and bred Central Queenslander having always lived in the region and in Gladstone for over 40 years. A Justice of the Peace, CT is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia as well as a Senior Counsellor of the Queensland Law Society. He was the founder of one of Central Queensland’s most successful legal firms.

CT is a keen and tireless participant in local charitable fundraising and has recently walked from Gladstone to Brisbane and Mackay to Gladstone to raise funds for charity. He supports many sporting and community organizations.

Chris loves fishing and gardening, has played rugby league for most of his life and is married to Colleen with four sons and one daughter.

Area and Location Description: Flynn covers an area of approximately 314 305 sq km including the City of Gladstone and the Shires of Aramac, Banana, Barcaldine, Bauhinia, Blackall, Calliope, Duaringa, Eidsvold, Emerald, Gayndah, Ilfracombe, Isisford, Jericho, Kolan, Longreach, Miriam Vale, Monto, Mundubbera, Peak Downs, Perry, Tambo, Taroom, Winton, Wondai, Woorabinda and parts of Burnett and Fitzroy. Main towns include Agnes Water, Alpha, Aramac, Banana, Barcaldine, Biloela, Blackall, Blackwater, Boyne Island, Calliope, Duaringa, Eidsvold, Emerald, Gayndah, Gladstone, Ilfracombe, Isisford, Jericho, Longreach, Miriam Vale, Monto, Moura, Mundubbera, Muttaburra, Peak Downs, Perry, Sapphire, Tambo, Tannum Sands, Taroom, Theodore, Winton and Wondai.

Products/Industries of the Area: Primary production including coal, oil, gas, orchards, cotton, grain, cattle and sheep. The Port of Gladstone is a major export facility for the area.
