Gender equality is at the heart of the Labor mission.
Australia has achieved great things pushing for equality. But there’s so much still to do.
The gender pay gap has been stubborn for over two decades. One Australian woman is killed every week by a partner or former partner. And if we carry on the way we’re going, we won’t achieve gender equity in our Parliament until 2046.
We must break through the barriers to equality.
But this won’t happen by chance – Australia needs a concrete plan for real action.
It’s the people facing the battles who know best what has to change. So we want to hear from you, to help develop Labor’s comprehensive blueprint for gender equality.
