Candidate for La Trobe

Simon and his wife Samantha are raising a family of four in Berwick, where Simon has lived all his life. Simon is a teacher at Beaconshill College.

He understands the power of education to create opportunity and that education is the foundation of a fair society.

Simon has always been an active member of the community including involvement in sporting clubs, community organisations, schools and local government.

Simon served as a local councillor with the City of Casey for four years. He enjoyed the opportunity to represent his local community. Simon has experience in working to deliver important outcomes, balancing growth and community needs.

In Simon’s time as a Councillor, and throughout his life, he has been a proud contributor to the local community and sporting organisations. His strong community service ethic was instilled by his family, who have made contributions to the La Trobe community since moving here in 1865.

Simon is President of the Berwick Football Club and knows that strong community organisations are the bedrock of strong and resilient communities.
