Yesterday thousands of Labor volunteers across the country came out to support Kevin Rudd and Labor. Here's a message from Thérèse Rein thanking everyone who got involved:
I just wanted to write to you all to say a big thank you to all the supporters who came out in their thousands for our first big National Field Day Event yesterday.
I had the pleasure of spending time in Queanbeyan, where about 30 volunteers for Mike Kelly and Labor in the marginal seat of Eden-Monaro came back from a morning's door-knocking and were getting ready for a community forum on the NBN.
I hope you know how much your support means for the future of Australia, and that you’re part of something really special. Record numbers of Australians are banding together and pouring their hearts, time, donations and talents into this campaign – and what you’ve achieved already in week one is just incredible.
Thanks so much, and keep up the good work!

If you'd like to help out, you can donate or volunteer too! Every bit counts.
