We know Party members are keen to receive their ballot papers and cast their vote in Labor's first ever member ballot for our Federal Leader.
So here is an update of where things are at:
Ballot packs for all eligible ALP members have been lodged with Australia Post.
In most cases eligible members should start receiving their ballot papers in the post in the coming days.
With more than 43,000 ballot papers having been posted it is likely that there may be a small number of instances where, due to incorrect address details or other factors, ballot papers do not reach their intended recipient.
Therefore, if eligible members have not received their ballot paper in their mail by Tuesday 1 October they should advise ALP National Secretariat at the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org
While you can also contact the Secretariat on (02) 6120 0800, an e-mail advising us of your name, state/territory branch, member number and current postal address, will be the best way to ensure your enquiry is dealt with promptly as possible.
