Naomi Oakley is the Federal Candidate for Menzies, proudly carrying the banner for her local community in the 2022 Federal Election.
Naomi is a strong voice for workers and small business owners in her local activism and campaign for Parliament. She is a community and safety-minded entrepreneur, involved in multiple initiatives in her local patch, including the Black Saturday Rock Concert and Sporting Event, Cystic Fibrosis Benefit Concert, and through volunteering at her children's football, netball, and basketball clubs, and School Council.
If elected to Parliament, Naomi hopes to highlight the discrimination women face in the workforce, fight for a First Nations voice to Parliament, and level the playing field in the economy. Naomi comes from a diverse and multicultural family and is passionate about eliminating bigotry and hatred in modern day Australia.
Before running for Menzies, Naomi proudly served as a member of Victoria Police for over ten years and operated her own security business which provided safety solutions and support to functions and domestic violence victims, and was an essential worker at a vaccination clinic.
Naomi has spent her life in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, and lives with her three children, Edana, Kara, and Sterling.
