The ALP National Secretariat is seeking expressions of interest for an exciting new role.
Northern Territory Campaign and Organising Director
The NT Campaign and Organising Director will lead campaign preparation and execution for the ALP in the Northern Territory ahead of the next Territory election in August 2028. The role will also focus on strengthening NT Labor’s organising capacity and continuous campaigning efforts.
The NT Campaign and Organising Director will develop and execute a recruitment and membership retention strategy, work with the Branch Committee and the Territory Secretary on a fundraising strategy and support the work of NT Labor in organising and training candidates.
Building strong relationships across NT Labor is critical to this role, with a specific focus on maximising the capability of ALP campaigns at the next Territory and Federal elections.

Essential skills
About the role
This is a fixed-term, full-time appointment, based in Darwin.
The position is part of the Target Seats Unit and reports to the Assistant National Secretary responsible for the Target Seats Unit.
The position will be filled at Level 2 of the Projects/Operational/Executive classification ($115,000 – $170,000 + 12% superannuation) as set out in the ALP National Secretariat Terms and Conditions of Employment. Remuneration will be discussed with suitable applicants.
