Zaneta was born in Kalgoorlie and grew up in Kambalda – a nickel mining town where her dad was a fitter and mum the kindy cleaner.
When Zaneta was 18, she moved to Perth to study science and engineering at Curtin University and since then, in her 15 year career as an engineer, she has worked in dozens of sites across regional WA and Victoria.
For the last 8 years, Zaneta and her husband have lived in East Victoria Park, where they are now raising their two children, Lincoln and Felicity. They love living there and are committed to their local community.
