Patrick Gorman entered Parliament committed to making change and improving lives.

Patrick and his wife Jess are raising their young children Leo and Ruby in North Perth.

He serves as Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister and Assistant Minister for the Public Service.

Prior to Parliament, Patrick served as Principal Adviser to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and State Secretary of WA Labor.

He has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Social Science from Curtin University.

Patrick is a proud member of the Labor Party as the party of opportunity, equality and fairness.

Both of Patrick’s parents were teachers. He knows the transformative impact a good education can have.

Medicare was there for Patrick as a chronic asthmatic child. He works to deliver policy that improves the lives of all Australians.

Since Patrick’s election he has constantly advocated for new ideas which benefit Australia’s national interest.
