2026 Inaugural National Indigenous Labor Conference

Motions portal and Consultation Draft of the ALP National Platform 

All motions must be submitted via the portal by 2:00pm on Saturday 18 April. Motions must include a title, the text of the motion, and the names of both the mover and seconder.

Motions will be considered at a plenary session at 10am on Sunday 19 April.

Movers should nominate whether their motion relates to the Consultation Draft of the ALP National Platform, to the Party’s rules and organisation, or are of a general nature.

The 2026 Australian Labor Party Inaugural National Indigenous Labor Conference is open to all First Nations members across the ALP.

This conference is a key opportunity for Indigenous Party members to connect, share experiences, and help shape Labor's work with First Nations communities.

Location: L’Aqua Dockside, Darling Harbour. 

Cost: $15 per person
