Kate Ellis is the CEO of Raising Literacy Australia, a not-for-profit organisation committed to enriching Australian lives through literacy.
Kate is a former Australian politician, who represented the Division of Adelaide in the Australian House of Representatives for the Australian Labor Party from 2004 until 2019. She served as Minister in portfolios including Sport, Employment Participation, the Status of Women, and Early Childhood Education. She is the author of Sex, Lies and Question Time.
Kate serves as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of Drinkwise Australia and the Rarefind Foundation.
